Voice over Production Is New Outsourced Commodity and Wise Investment for Entertainment Sector

Posted by admin on 07 Feb 2010 | Tagged as: Advertising, Marketers Center, Media Hall

Voice Over Production

If you have ever heard something on TV, radio or film, then chances are voice over production rounded off the final cut. Voice over production is used in many aspects of the entertainment sector whether in movies, TV and radio. Many prospective actors begin their careers in a voice over field. Voiceover production facilities are indispensable in advertising, promotional ads, and overall television, audio and movie production. Even if you are a business in a rural area that may not have access to quality recording studios and require voiceover recording to finish your project, there is still assistance available. Many voice over recording studios can offer you with editing and mixing remotely.

It is important to determine the defects in the voiceover and eliminate them before releasing the final product. Making changes after the fact can be detrimental to the budget and draining on the morale of the vocal talent. It is best that you outsource your voice over work to a professional studio that have many years experience and knowledge rather than take a chance performing the vocal dubbing work on your own. From radio spots to big budget movies, the caliber of the voice over production can set the spirit for the overall experience of the project. Even if you feel as though your project may be modest in scale, outsourcing to a voice over production studio is still a attainable option for your wallet and your demands.

Affiliate Marketing Tools: the Information Everybody Really Needs to Have

Posted by admin on 20 Nov 2009 | Tagged as: Marketers Center

Affiliate marketing is akin to an auction house. Merchandise is featured on your website and for all your work, you will get a commission from each sale or lead. It isn’t nearly as much effort, few overheads, it sells 24/7, and it is easy to master. The first step you must take is to make a choice as to precisely what niche market you would like to work in. To do this, you need to find out what a certain market segment is looking for, and then what solutions will assist them. One of the best ways to determine this is finding unique sets of extremely specific longtail keywords and phrases; by and large customers look for these less, yet a higher percentage of these convert. These profitable keywords can be obtained by using programs such as Micro Niche Finder. Data collected from Micro Niche Finder or other computer programs or software packages compiles related terms in a list that you can target in order to get a great listing in the search engines and generate a good deal of traffic.

Further information is supplied from the application, for example the number of searches every one gets, the exact number of competing internet sites, and how successful the competition is. Finally, the info generated will help you find appropriate domains, assist you in putting together your web site, and even reveal the best sales opportunities. Construction of a site is next on the list; but you’ll obviously have to do more than simply that. You will want to fine-tune your site for the search engines. Programs like SEO Elite can make this simple. Competing websites are analyzed by Seo Elite information which then offers advice on how to better search engine rankings.

With applications like SEO Elite, info supplied by the software package advises you where to look for links, what words and phrases to concentrate on, and an extensive listing of sites for submitting articles for reference. In Brief, SEO Elite information is much like to the data you might get when you confer with an experienced SEO specialist. Once you decide on your niche, have your product ads, and your web site has been designed, it is time to get your internet site up in the search results. You’ll collect steady payments and question why you always worried about money!

Bryan Ellis comments on Virtual Real Estate Investing

Posted by admin on 23 Dec 2008 | Tagged as: Doing Business, Marketers Center, Real Estate Profits

A relatively new concept in the online world is “Virtual Real Estate Investing“. There are many variations on what this term means, encompassing everything from using the internet to aid in real estate investing efforts to participating in online games such as SecondLife.

To get the facts, I sought out the man generally considered to be the father of virtual real estate investing: Bryan Ellis.

Ellis says he adopted the term “virtual real estate investing” sometime before Y2K after he realized that making money online is conceptually very similar to making money with physical real estate.

An example of the similar nature of “virtual” and “physical” real estate Bryan Ellis likes to point out is the methods of making a profit from domain names compared to physical real estate. He points out that control of a domain name or even a specific web page is much like controlling a real estate property ” those assets can be monetized in similar ways: By selling them for a profit, by leasing them, by offering advertising, etc.

I must admit: Its easy to see the parallels. For example, if you’re the owner of a desirable property, its desirability is (in a business context) largely due to its being in a location that is of interest to others. Similarly, ownership of a desirable domain name is valuable for the same reasons. So it doesn’t matter if you own physical real estate or virtual real estate – you’ll likely use similar strategies to turn them into money in your pocket.

In our next installment of this series on virtual real estate investing., Bryan Ellis will share the internet analogies to the physical concept of real estate development.

Defining Your Niche as a Virtual Assistant

Posted by admin on 23 Aug 2008 | Tagged as: Marketers Center

Niche (n)

a. A situation or activity specially suited to a person’s interests,
abilities, or nature.

b. A special area of demand for a product or service.

Niching (tr.v.)

To place in a niche.

As a Virtual Assistant (VA), you know about filling a niche because you
are already doing it by being a VA. You cater to the administrative,
technical, creative, and financial needs of your clients by assisting them
virtually. This itself is a niche.

If you’re like many entrepreneurs when first starting in business, you
took every job that came along. You did it from a place of necessity.
Even if you thought yours was the exception, no company can meet
every need of every client throughout the life of a business. There is no
doubt, however, that this approach serves us well in the beginning!

If you are an exceptional entrepreneur who has developed a reputation
of excellence in everything you do, eventually you will need to make
important decisions about the future of your company because you have
more business than you are able to manage. What a dilemma! You are
no longer in a place where you must accept work because it provides
revenue. Your hard work has brought you to where you have the
opportunity to pick-and-choose your clients from this point forward.
What a thrill to redefine your growing business!

This is the perfect time not only to increase your fees, but also to decide
on the specific industry or industries and type(s) of clients you most want
to serve. This is known as niching.

By narrowing your focus, you:

• have the opportunity to work with people in the industry of your choice.

• have inside exposure to different aspects/news of the industry from the
perspective/experience of your clients.

• can position yourself as the VA expert within your industry and use this
to market your services, e.g. “We cater to the ____ industry and are the
first and only ones to do so. We are best equipped to meet your needs
because we know the industry from the inside out!”

• will have the passion and tenacity on those days when you question
your sanity and wonder if you truly have what it takes to be a VA. You
will be serving an industry you love and that will carry you to your next
new client/task.

• keep your focus on those clients/markets that most interest you and
will continue to interest you over the life of your business.

• are maintaining a concentrated marketing/advertising focus instead of
diluting your efforts by trying to meet every need of every client in every
field.

• increase your ability to get an hourly rate that is higher than a VA
business with no niche focus. If you have insider knowledge of a
specific industry, your expertise is more valuable and therefore, you can
charge more for your services.

Initially, you may think that you risk losing business because you are
niching yourself too narrowly. However, if your focus is catering to a
specific industry and all your marketing efforts are placed there, you will
soon reap the rewards of clients who come only from your chosen
industry . . . an industry you love and want to cater to anyway! You will
have more business than you’ll be able to manage and can soon raise
your rates again!

Okay, now that you’ve decided you want to niche tighter, you may be
asking yourself how to go about choosing an industry.

A key factor in deciding on a specific industry is to spend a few hours
assessing your own interests, work style, and personality characteristics.
With at least an hour of uninterrupted time set aside for this specific task,
use a blank sheet of paper and answer the following questions:

1. What are my hobbies?

2. What are other areas of interest that are not yet hobbies? What
passions have I not had the time to explore?

3. Which existing clients bring me the most joy? Why? In which
industries do they work?

4. What are the work and personality characteristics of my ideal
client?

In answering these questions thoughtfully, you will begin to see patterns
emerge. These patterns will offer clues about which industries to further
investigate as possible options for your new focus.

Now that you are thinking more about focused niching, it is a perfect
time to go through your list of services and cut out the ones that:

• you don’t love

• aren’t lucrative

• aren’t requested often enough to warrant keeping them on your list of
services

These points will move you closer to being in full alignment with
providing the services that you most enjoy! You are creating a vacuum .
. . an open space that will be filled with dream clients in your desired
industry! How does that sound? Think about it. If your current
circumstance is filled with an unfocused direction, clients coming in from
fields that hold no interest for you, and old service offerings, it is your
duty to yourself and the life of your business to draw in a situation that is
a much better match.

Okay, so you have chosen your niche market, developed a new plan of
how to market your VA services, cut out services that no longer play a
part in your new direction, and it occurs to you to ask the question: What
do I do with my existing clients who are not in the industry on which I
have decided to focus?

Great question! By all means, keep them! They are one of the reasons
you are in the place to be able to take this important step. And no doubt,
they will continue to be excellent clients and make referrals based on
your well-established relationship.

The primary focus is that NEW clients come from the industry you have
decided is the best match for the person/business you are now.

In following these guidelines, you will find your work becoming more
and more fulfilling because your efforts truly meet the needs of those
who most interest you! Only with a narrowed market concentration, can
you truly meet the specific needs of your clients.

Happy niching!

Tips For Maintaining Your Car Battery

Posted by admin on 19 Aug 2008 | Tagged as: Marketers Center

You seldom think about your car battery until you are in a deserted parking garage late at night and your car won’t start. Then it becomes very important in your life. Car batteries require simple and routine maintenance in order to work properly over their lives. If you can open your hood and use a wire brush, you can maintain a car battery. First thing is to pop open your hood and locate your battery. Don’t worry, it won’t bite.

The 2 posts that the battery cables are connected to must be clean and free of corrosion. Corrosion can prevent the cables from getting a charge from the battery and prevent your car from starting. Simply keeping your terminals clean can keep those troubles away. Get a wire brush and scrub the contacts clean. If you are really motivated, you can remove the cables and scrub the inside of connector and the terminal post. You should have a good contact after you complete this little chore. You also need to check your water level, especially when it is hot outside.

If the water level drops too low, the battery will have a difficult time holding a charge. Next time you fill up, ask the guy at the service station to check it for you. Don’t wait until your car is slow to crank up. If your battery is not putting out enough juice, it may be too late to save it. The time to save your car battery is before these symptoms show up and always have a pair of jumper cables or a battery booster in your truck. You never know if that old battery has cranked for the last time.

Voice Mail Can Be Your Buddy

Posted by admin on 17 Aug 2008 | Tagged as: Marketers Center

Voice Mail is a classy name for “answer Machine”.
Problem is, people at home had answer machines
long before most businesses. When the answer
machine industry finally figured how work to their
machines into business systems with more than one
extension, they called it “Voice Mail”

This article focuses on what you say TO the voice
mail, not the welcome greeting you might put on
your voice mail. You can leave two types of voice
mail messages. A message to a person you already
have a business relationship with, and a message
to a person you hope to establish a business
relationship with (a cold call).

Most people don’t answer machines or voice mail.
If you have an answer machine at home you have
listened to that recorded silence while the non-
speaking person breathes, then hangs up, having
decided not to leave a message. Most answer
machine message begin with a pause because the
person on the other end was not prepared to leave
a message and does not think on their feet like
you and me. In business, the pause can kill you.
Voice mail can be your buddy. Be prepared to meet
it head on without a moment’s hesitation. Just
like you worked out your one sentence unique
selling proposition and practiced the quick draw
of your business cards for networking, you can be
ready with several canned voice mail message and
not miss a second when the thing beeps at you.
Time is money. You took the time to make the call,
so you should make every effort to make it pay for
off for you. What you say is what makes the
difference.

There is some research that says the average
executive gets over 300 messages (mail, eMail fax
and more) each day, not to mention the bombardment
of advertising messages from billboards, TV,
radio, cable and newspapers. That’s a lot of
clutter to penetrate. And if your message is ho
hum, or starts with a pause… fahgettaboutit!
Your message must attract attention right off or
you go down with the delete button. Leaving
messages for friends and family is a snap, a
spontaneous act. Not so at work. You need to
prepare your message.Be ready before you dial.

What do you say? You have to plan this in advance.
Scripting is not a bad idea. I am not saying you
should read from a script, but if you write and
organize what you are going to say and read the
script out loud enough times, it will sound like a
natural when you recite it to the machine. Just
like you rehearsed your Unique Selling Proposition
(USP) so you don’t have to remember, it just comes
out naturally when someone asks “What do you do?”

I know of one eager saleslady who recorded her
voice mail response on a little cassette machine
hooked to her phone with a Radio Shack interface.
When she gets the tone, she pushes the play button
and sends it down the line. Another sales type,
(let’s call him “Bif”) had a guy at the radio
station do up a fancy 30 second commercial
complete with production effects and music. There
is a line you cross and Bif may have crossed it.
Goals Your message should be targeted at building
credibility, so when you call again and the party
is in the office, you can get through.

How can you build credibility with a voice mail
message? For starts, you don’t leave a lot of
ahhs, gulps, and uuhs. When you begin without
hesitation, in a clear, concise, upbeat manner you
are telegraphing a positive image of knowledge and
confidence, even when you get the “unexpected”
voice mail prompt.

As you deliver your rehearsed script over and
over, take care not to speed though with little or
no emotion in your voice. Remember how you feel
when the place you call is answered by a bored,
unhappy receptionist who speeds through the spiel
with the “I don’t care if you can’t comprehend
what I am saying” attitude. Your Voice mail pitch
must be warm, and slow enough to sound as if it is
coming from your heart, not your recorder on high
speed.

Here are BIG Mike’s Tips for leaving effective
Voice Mail

DON’T BE PREDICTABLE

Everyone leaves the same tired message. You get
tuned out the minutes it starts, Example of same
ol same ol: “Hi this is Bif, we haven’t met but I
thought I’d call to see if you would be interested
in hearing about my new…” UGH! Make your
messages so compelling folks have to call you
back. And don’t drone on and on, make ‘em short
enough to entice, but long enough to incite.

IT’S NOT ABOUT YOU

This phrase pops up in every aspect of marketing,
from advertising all the way down to answer
machine and voice mail messages, Its Not About
You.

Take a poll. No one cares about you. No one cares
that your mug shot is 15 feet high on a billboard
across town. No one cares if you are doing your
own radio commercials and sound worse than the
high school announcer. No one cares if your
dealership has sold more cars than all the dealers
in Central Montana. And NO ONE CARES when you
leave a message about you, or your company. Its
not about you. WIIFM.

WIIFM is not a radio station, is the acronym to
remind you they don’t care about you, instead they
ask “What’s In It For Me?” WIIFM??

SELL THE BENEFITS

The key ingredient for successful sales and
marketing works for effective voice mail as well.
What can you say that will lead the listener to
know and believe that you have something of value
for them? Prospects return calls if you convince
them you may have something they want…and, soon.

ASK FOR THE ORDER

Voice mails have been asking callers to “Leave a
message” for years, yet fully three quarters of
those who do respond to the beep only leave name
and phone number.

Your voice mail message gives you a perfect
opportunity to call for action on the part of your
listener (Remember you are competing with 300+
messages and the horrid reputation of telephone
sales pitches (telemarketers).

Go for the close with a call for action. Ask them
to do something. To Call You, To be on the lookout
for a package from FedEx. To check records to see
if you are not right on target. Ask and you’ll
get.

Voice mail response can be an effective sales
tool. Voice mail is one of many tools the
professional uses to get the job done, right

As you all know, breaking into E-Business is not always that simple. It takes patience, compassion, and outrageous amounts of Dedication. I don’t really want to bore you with my story, but I feel it is crucial to get the point across.

My identical Twin Brother Sean and I started off small no more than 1 month ago. We were on a popular website called MySpace attempting to market our products that way. Over the weeks, we began getting an immediate response from people about our products. To our amazement, the very next week, we received a call from the local newspaper interested in doing a story on us. They featured us on the front page of the paper!

A little secret that I have learned, if you are looking to start off in this E-Business, you need to take every option available to you. If you think you have even the slightest idea of a good product to market, go directly to your local newspaper. They are never going to turn down a story that promises potential. In doing this, you are getting notice in your community.

From there, your best friend is Word of Mouth. Word of you will spread like wild fire. My brother and I created our website and have been doing everything you could possibly do to break into the top search engines in all of the top websites. The best thing you can do is to write your articles. Just like this. This is a guaranteed way to boost sales and get your website noticed! I hope my information has been a help to you!
